Lieutenant Jeb Bozarth, legally known as John Vincent Bozarth Jr., developed a career defined by long-term public service, structured leadership, and operational responsibility. He is a retired Lieutenant of the Henderson Police Department, a United States Navy Seabee veteran, and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Critical Training Solution LLC. His professional background includes more than 30 years of combined military and public safety service, gained through assignments ranging from frontline operations to command-level leadership.

His educational background reflects a consistent commitment to professional development. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also completed the School of Police Staff and Command, Class 586, at the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. Earlier in his career, he graduated from the Southern Desert Regional Police Academy at the College of Southern Nevada, where he received the Academy Leadership Award. He completed basic, intermediate, first-line supervision, and advanced certifications through the Nevada Peace Officer Standards and Training, as well as specialized training in tactical operations and large-scale event safety.

Military service established the foundation for his leadership approach. He first enlisted in the United States Navy in April 1990 and served on active duty until 1994, completing his reserve obligation in 1998. Following the attacks of 9/11, he returned to active service from September 2001 through 2007 and was activated from 2004 to 2005 for Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Assigned to the U.S. Navy Seabees, he attained the rank of Equipment Operator First Class and qualified as a Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist. His deployments supported Operations Southern Watch, Restore Hope, and Iraqi Freedom II, and his service was recognized with multiple military awards, including two National Defense Medals and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal with Marine Corps Combat Operations Insignia.

In August 2006, Jeb Bozarth of Henderson, NV, began his law enforcement career with the Henderson Police Department. He was assigned to uniformed patrol, where his duties included responding to calls for service, conducting traffic enforcement, and working directly with community members. During this period, he completed Instructor Development training, the Kaminsky Course, and the POST First-Line Supervisor Course. His actions during a critical incident in 2010 earned him the Henderson Police Department Medal of Valor, recognizing sound judgment and decisive action in a dangerous situation.

His career advanced into specialized operations when he was selected for assignment to the department’s SWAT team in 2009. He served in that role until 2014, participating in high-risk warrant service, barricaded-suspect incidents, and coordinating tactical responses. Over time, he was appointed Assistant Team Leader and later served as the SWAT Training Coordinator, contributing to consistent training standards and team readiness.

From 2014 to 2016, Jeb Bozarth was assigned to the Problem Solving Unit, where his work focused on proactive investigations and the suppression of repeat offenders. He authored search warrants related to narcotics trafficking, weapons offenses, fraud, and property crimes, demonstrating careful adherence to investigative standards and constitutional requirements. Beginning in 2016, he served in the Henderson Police Department Training Bureau, instructing officers in incident command, rescue task force operations, emergency vehicle operations, firearms training, active assailant response, and defensive tactics. He was among the first responders to the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting.

Promoted to Sergeant in 2018, he supervised patrol and training operations and later received the Distinguished Service Award in 2020 and the Supervisor of the Year Award in 2022. In May 2023, he was promoted to Lieutenant and assumed command of SWAT and K9 operations until his retirement on January 13, 2025. After retiring, he transitioned fully into leading Critical Training Solution LLC, continuing to share practical experience and provide instruction while remaining committed to service beyond his formal law enforcement career.
